Terms of Service

Updated October 8, 2026

Episode Studio is operated by Digital Mogul. Contact: michael@digitalmogul.com.

1. Using Episode Studio

These terms govern access to Episode Studio, a podcast production and client-workspace service. By using the service, you agree to these terms with Digital Mogul. If you use the service for a business or client, you must be authorized to act on its behalf. Users must be at least 18 years old.

The current release supports episode uploads or Dropbox links, AI-assisted transcription and asset planning, browser-based rendering, exports, client workspaces, social account connections where enabled, and campaign review. Some features are experimental or available only in testing. Automatic publishing is available only for supported, connected destinations with the required permissions and a customer-approved release. Check each destination’s reported status; a proposed calendar date is not confirmation of publication.

2. Accounts and workspace access

Keep your sign-in credentials secure and use only accounts you are authorized to manage. Customers are responsible for approving their users and assignments. The studio administrator can access client workspaces; client users are limited to assigned podcasts. Tell us promptly if access is incorrect or you suspect misuse.

You must not bypass access controls, use another client’s workspace without permission, disrupt the service, upload malicious files, or use the service for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive conduct. We may restrict access to investigate misuse, protect users, comply with law, or address security risks.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in your source recordings and other materials. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, analyze, edit, and otherwise process those materials as reasonably needed to provide the features you request. This includes providing relevant material to service providers and, only when enabled and authorized, to selected publishing platforms. It does not authorize using your private episode in our marketing without separate permission.

You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed for recordings, guest appearances, voices, images, music, artwork, logos, sponsors, and other submitted material. Obtain appropriate rights for editing and AI processing as well as publication. Do not assume that music available in one platform’s library may be exported or used on another platform.

As between you and the operator, we claim no ownership in your completed episode assets merely because you created them with Episode Studio. Outputs may contain third-party material, and AI-generated material may not be unique or eligible for exclusive intellectual-property protection. You are responsible for assessing the rights needed for your use.

4. AI outputs and editorial responsibility

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unsuitable for publication. Before using an output, review transcript wording, names, timestamps, captions, quotations, context, claims, clip boundaries, and permissions. Do not publish a clip that falsely represents a speaker’s views or makes an unsupported claim. Episode Studio does not guarantee audience growth, virality, revenue, search rankings, or platform acceptance.

5. Connected accounts and campaign approval

Connect only social accounts, Pages, and channels that you own or have permission to manage. Authorizations are granted through the provider’s own screens. A developer test configuration does not guarantee production access; some platforms require review, verification, particular account types, or restricted testing users.

Before using publishing features, review the destination account, media, caption, timing, audience/privacy choice, and required sponsorship or AI-content disclosures before authorizing each campaign. We will identify the actions that approval authorizes in the product. Trial previews do not authorize or execute publishing.

Platforms control their own permissions, moderation, posting rules, quotas, and availability. Access may expire or be revoked. A failed, rejected, delayed, or duplicate post may require action; delivery and exact publication times cannot be guaranteed. Removing a connection or deleting a local draft does not remove an existing platform post.

6. Third-party services and privacy

Episode Studio relies on external hosting, sign-in, AI, storage, file-sharing, and social platforms. Your use of those services is subject to their applicable terms. Features may change when a provider changes or restricts its service.

The Privacy Policy describes the service’s data handling. Do not provide personal information you lack authority to disclose. Where a customer requires a separate data-processing agreement or region-specific terms, those arrangements must be agreed before the relevant processing begins; these terms do not themselves supply them.

7. Charges

The First Episode Preview requires no payment card and includes one podcast, processing of one selected excerpt up to 15 minutes, up to two clips, wide and vertical intro previews, sample release copy, and one watermark-free clip download. The seven-day review period begins when processing completes successfully. Failed processing does not consume the completed preview allowance; retries and enrollment are subject to capacity and abuse-prevention limits. Nothing is published from the trial. Preview access expires after seven days; the saved source can be used after upgrading. The service is not permanent archival storage.

The one-podcast subscription is $100 USD per month or $1,000 USD per year. It includes up to four episodes per monthly allowance period, each up to two hours, with standard AI processing. Unused allowances do not roll over. Premium generated artwork and B-roll are separate. Additional podcast licenses are $799 USD per year each. Checkout shows the selected price and recurring interval before payment. Stripe processes payments. Subscriptions renew until canceled; cancellation through Manage subscription takes effect at the end of the paid period. Contact michael@digitalmogul.com for billing or refund requests. Applicable statutory rights are unaffected. Third-party services may impose their own charges.

8. Availability, exports, and ending use

Keep the page open during upload and browser-based processing. Background processing continues after a successful upload. Keep independent copies of your original media and exported assets. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, failures, or provider restrictions. It is not an archival backup service.

You may stop using the service and request termination or data deletion at michael@digitalmogul.com. We may suspend or end access for material violations, security concerns, or legal requirements. When reasonably practicable and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export permitted content. Data retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable customer agreement.

9. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any written customer agreement, the service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular commercial outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Applicable law and any agreed customer contract govern where these terms do not address an issue.

10. Changes and contact

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be explained with an effective date and any notice or acceptance required by applicable law. Contact michael@digitalmogul.com for support, privacy requests, content complaints, or questions about these terms.
